Presbyterian
Church of the Covenant
Sunday School
Children
Our Covenant Children's Ministry actively relates truths of Jesus Christ to the
children's world, helps them to discover and own God's great love for them, and provides a
Christian community context in which the children can enjoy each other.
Nursery (infants and toddlers): Childcare in a
safe, warm and loving environment is provided in Room for infants ranging from newborns to
those just learning to walk, and in Room 22 for toddlers; our program helps them develop
positive feelings about God and the church.
Preschool: Two year old children meet in Room 16
and children who are 3, 4, and 5 years old meet in Room 21. Bible stories will be brought
to life using a "hands-on" curriculum designed to be child-sensitive and
activity-oriented.
Grades Kindergarten through Five: Children in
grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 meet in the East Wing, Rooms 7 and 10, for a unique Sunday
School experience. The theme for 1998 is "God's Good Gift-Hope."
Preschool and elementary classes use Presbyterian and Reformed Educational Ministry
Celebrate curriculum.
